Hutchison Insurance Agency, Inc. became one of seven founding members in November 1997 of The Insurance Alliance of Central Pennsylvania. The Alliance is a consortium of 11 regional agencies controlling a volume of over $240 million in insurance premiums. In 2008, the Alliance ranked 36 out of the top 100 property/casualty independent agencies as reported by the National Insurance Journal.
